On behalf of Thames Water, Browne will soon be delivering a significant infrastructure project along Fonthill Road, Islington. Over the course of approximately 11 weeks, two aging cast iron mains, a 4-inch and 6-inch, will be replaced by a larger 180mm polyethylene barrier pipe. This rationalisation will improve the network's efficiency and significantly reduce the likelihood of bursts and service interruptions.
As part of the Victorian mains replacement framework, the works will be carried out in phases, allowing Fonthill Road to remain partially open, minimising disruption for residents and businesses.
