Browne Volunteers Support Improvements at Cheshunt Primary School

Browne has partnered with St Paul's Catholic Primary School in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, to deliver a volunteering initiative aimed at improving facilities for pupils and supporting the local community.

As part of our ongoing commitment to delivering social value alongside our projects, a team of 10 Browne volunteers dedicated their time and skills to carry out a range of enhancements across the school site. The initiative formed part of our wider approach to creating positive, lasting impacts in the communities where we work.

The team completed several improvement works over the course of the day to enhance the school's outdoor environment and improve safety for pupils. This included the installation of a new sandpit and fenced play area, external decoration works and drainage clearance to help create a safer and more enjoyable space for children.

The improvements will provide long-term benefits for the school, particularly for early years pupils who will make regular use of the upgraded play facilities. By investing time and practical support into local projects such as this, Browne is helping to create environments where young people can learn, play and thrive.

Community engagement and social value remain an important part of Browne's delivery approach. Through volunteering, partnership working and local initiatives, we seek to support the communities connected to our projects and contribute positively beyond the construction and infrastructure works we deliver.
