Currently, our team is engaged in a significant project on behalf of Thames Water, carrying out main replacements outside Snaresbrook Primary School. These crucial upgrades are designed to ensure the continued provision of safe and reliable water services to the local area, with the work set to be completed by November.
Thames Water and Browne Team Up to Transform Kenmont Primary School Grounds
Kenmont Primary School recently received a delightful makeover, thanks to the efforts of the Browne Helping Hands team supported by members of the Thames Water team. The partnership, initiated by Browne, to thank the school and community for their cooperation while we carried out the construction work outside the school on behalf of Thames Water. Recognising the inconvenience that their construction activities had caused, Browne proposed a unique way to give back to the school community.
Browne to Replace 722m of 12" Water Mains on Offord Road, London for Thames Water
In an exciting development for the Offord Road community, Browne is preparing to replace 722m of 12-inch cast iron water mains as part of a significant infrastructure project for Thames Water. The replacement of these outdated mains is a critical step towards improving water supply reliability and preventing future pipe bursts and floods, which have previously caused disruptions for local residents and businesses.

Browne’s Helping Hands volunteers recently joined forces with a team from Affinity Water, one of our valued clients, for a rewarding day of community service. Together, we participated in a joint volunteering initiative with the Hertfordshire and Middlesex Wildlife Trust, focusing on an important environmental task: clearing Himalayan balsam from a local river.

This month we ran our latest work experience placement at Browne. We are very pleased to have welcomed two young students for the week. Justin, 14 years old and Tyler, 17 years old who had the opportunity to rotate through various departments within the business to gain a comprehensive understanding of different roles and get an overview of our organisation.
