Last week, Browne was proud to take part in Thames Water's annual Raft Race, a longstanding industry event that has brought together colleagues, contractors and suppliers for more than 25 years in support of WaterAid. This year's fundraising efforts are supporting projects in Amboasary Sud, Madagascar, where WaterAid is helping to create lasting positive change for local communities.
With this year’s theme of 'Rafting Back to the Future', Browne's contingent embraced the challenge by transforming into Doc Browne's Mad Scientists. While the team did not secure first place on the water, their creativity and enthusiasm earned them the award for Best Fancy Dress, making a memorable contribution to the day's festivities.
The Raft Race provided a fantastic opportunity for colleagues from across the water industry to come together, enjoy some friendly competition and support an important cause. From the carefully crafted costumes to the spirited teamwork on race day, Browne's participants represented the business with energy, commitment and good humour throughout.
Events such as the Thames Water Raft Race play an important role in bringing the industry together while raising funds for projects that make a real difference around the world. Browne is proud to support initiatives that align with our values of collaboration, community and positive social impact.
A huge thank you goes to everyone who took part, supported the team and helped make the day such a success. We are delighted to have been involved in another fantastic Raft Race and to contribute to WaterAid's valuable work.
