J Browne Construction is proud to announce an ongoing charity partnership with Haven House Children’s Hospice in Woodford Green. We have committed to donate £1 for every health safety and well-being audit, action raised from an audit and hazard report raised from our people. This aligns our safety culture, and our focus on delivering public value to our local community.
Haven House Children's Hospice provides care to local children and families, from birth, who are seriously ill and have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. The charity is based at Woodford Green in North East London and is situated in a fantastic facility set in four acres of protected woodland on the edge of Epping Forest. Head of Community Engagement at Haven House, Lindy Hunt, said “We are delighted to have been chosen by J Browne Construction as their charity partner. The support we have received from the local business community during this extraordinary time has been vitally important to the hospice. Our partnership with J Browne means we will be able to help more families with seriously ill children and we are so grateful to them for their support. The future is still uncertain but working together is helping to keep our services running.”
We were pleased to recently present a cheque for £1,324 to Lindy at Haven House and we hope to significantly build on this start and ensure the next donation is far higher. We will use this initiative to promote safer sites and workplaces in our business as well as helping this wonderful charity. Chairman, Jeremy Browne said” We are privileged to be working with such a tremendous local charity who are doing amazing work to help sick kids and their families in really difficult circumstances due to the pandemic. We look forward to significantly improving both the levels of safety intervention in our business while increasing the money we raise for Lindy and her team.”
